Project awarded the “Special Prize” for the Circular by Design Challenge 2021 by LuxInnovation and the Luxembourg Ministry of Economics.
Kombutex is an on-going design and research project for sustainable alternatives to conventional leather. The project explores the possibilities of bacterial cellulose materials. We are looking to collaborate with scientific research groups to find solutions through biocoatings and nanobiotechnology.
